So the rice thing wasn't the way to go? I would think that one works with water...and when it is still damp.

I'm going to say that it's an old wives tale. Like holding your breath cures hiccups and the shape of your hairline determines the sex of your next sibling.

Maybe it is a wives tale. A co-worker got water dumped on his phone (like a whole water bottle) and he's trying out the rice thing as well ... I've never used this method, just heard that it works b/c the rice absorbs the moisture from whatever you put in it. Sorry it didn't work for you Jax!
*looks ashamed b/c rice prob could get stuck under keys and be annoying*

Stop it. I totally appreciate the suggestion. I'm willing to try anything. Maybe it works for small key-less devices. xoxo

I've seen youtube evidence that it works on iPhones that have been dropped into a toilet....
.....a clean toilet

My dad says to take a blowdryer and try to dry the water as best you can. Thats what worked for my dad.

*sigh* That's what mine said too.
Maybe I should try it and let go of my quarter life rebellion against him. Dad's... they think they know everything.
