I thought, I'd go ahead and start this thread.
'ello, Jeanne here, better known (by like three people) as Einfach Mich.
I am a newb to the fandom, but I am making up for lost time. I am addicted to the podcast and Twilight fan fiction. I do write, but have only posted a little bit for human consumption.
If you want to know more about me, check me out on Twitter or my Live Journal.
Looking forward to have awesome conversations here.

I'm Courtney, also known as sapphire.witche. I'm not a writer, I'm a reader and sometimes reviewer, but I am addicted to fanfic. I have a kitten, her name is Bella - this is not Twilight related. She is so adorable! I like manipulating images. I like Twilight a lot. I like anime. I like a lot of things. I'm on Twitter and LJ if anyone wants to know more. Bella (and my shoulder) ->

Hey! I just love how everyone's like "Imma cop out on writing an intro... just ask." It makes me sad... SO, I'm not going to do that. My name is Jenny, or TRDancer on FFn and Twilighted. You can call me TRD, Dancer, Jenny, Jen... I honestly don't care what you call me, as long as I'm aware that you're addressing m. I only recently found fan fiction. In fact, I joined FFn on Feb. 1. I first read the Twilight saga in January. Honestly, I read Twlight once and was like "that's all? really? I must have missed something." I immediately flipped back to the beginning and re-read the whole book. Evidently I did miss something, because after the second reading, I was hooked. I bought the rest of the books ASAP. Just because I feel like it (and maybe you'll get some insight into my personality through this) I'm going to list the books in order of how much I like them (1 being the best, 4 being the not best) 1. New Moon - because this book has ANGST. Plus, this is where the story gets interesting. And I like Jacob. So shoot me. 2. Twilight - because it started the whole thing. The fluff in this is the best. Plus, who doesn't like James with a videocamera yelling "tell Edward to avenge you!". And Laurent is good when he's nice. 3. Breaking Dawn - because, it's good. I know lots of people don't like BD, and I GUESS I see why, but it didn't let me down at all. I LOVE it. 4. Eclipse - this one comes in last because I always have to struggle to remember exactly what happened. Although, I do love Bree. She's usually the one I remember. (I'm guessing you're like "who the hell?" Or maybe not. But she's that newborn that surrendered and then the Volturi burned her, in case you needed a refresher.) *mutters* What to write, what to write... I love to dance. You might have noticed by my screen name. It's my dance studio's name, in case you were wondering. (I'm just going to assume you all want to know things about me... kind of like I've been doing this whole time.) Music is delicious. I love the Temptation podcast (even though I've only heard one episode... *looks away*) I REALLY like forums. (Hence the reason I am here.) I don't know what else to say about myself. Congrats for reading this far. Ask if you'd like to know more about me. I'm a pro rambler. (As you can see, I'm sure.) And in re-reading my post, I noticed that I write " " a lot. I'm a really nice person. I'm trying to work on that, especially in my reviews. I tend to tell people their work rocks, even if I think they need to find a plot and fix their spelling mistakes. But generally, I like being nice. Lol. (there I go again...)

Hey! I'm Dori. I am twenty-one years of age and live in the awesomeness that is sunny California. I read the books back in September, so, compared to a lot of awesome people, I'm still a noob. I'm okay with this because it means that I didn't have to wait forever for Breaking Dawn to finally come out ;D
My list as to which books I liked best are in the same order as Jenny, but for different reasons:
[glow=red,2,300]New Moon[/glow]Because it's the truest struggle of Edward and Bella's relationship. He leaves to protect her, but ends up hurting her more than anything physical ever could and he almost dies because of it. Even thinking that the love of her life hates her, she rushes to certain danger just to save him, ultimately, from himself. In the end, their love is so much stronger because of it all.
[glow=red,2,300]Twilight[/glow]Because... okay, it's kind of the same as Jenny's answer. It started it all and it was wonderful.
[glow=red,2,300]Breaking Dawn[/glow]Because I loved the concept that Edward could give Bella the child he so wanted to and, although I hate the name Nessie, I think that little girl is adorable. Obviously, there were flaws, but I still enjoyed the book tremendously.
[glow=red,2,300]Eclipse[/glow]Because wtf? Arrgh! Okay, I loved the idea of Bella leaning on Jake in her time of desperation and falling in love with him because you can't help but fall for someone if they save you from your darkest hour and make you smile in the process. You just can't. All this along with the fact that it doesn't matter in the first place because your second love will never be enough to out-shadow your true love makes for an awesome story. Where SM failed miserably is in the execution.
If she hadn't made Jake's character in Eclipse so douchey, had given a small hint as to Bella's true feelings, and had not given us the vision of a preggo Bella with little Native mini-me's running around, I would have loved it. Instead, she made Bella adamant that she didn't care for Jake romantically, so it was a complete and shocking 180 when she kissed him and "all the sudden," NO! You don't "all the sudden" realize that you love someone if there are no prior doubts in your subconscious.
She also gave sweet, lovable Jake this cocky, annoying attitude which might have been okay given his circumstances if she hadn't also made him a selfish name-I-can't-say-on-an-all-ages-board as well and tried to pass it off as love. You don't do everything in your power to get someone to realize their love for you out of love for them. Love is supposed to be selfless, but all Jake wanted was for Bella to realize that she loved him back, not for her! But for him. So he could have her or rest easy knowing he tried. Even though he knew that it would only hurt her in the end because either she would choose Edward like we all knew she would and leave behind her best friend and light of her life, or she would choose Jake and crush Edward, crushing herself in the process.
And finally... the kids. Wtff was that crap? Bella never wanted kids! She didn't even want the marriage! It was different with Renesmee because she was already pregnant and even a mother who didn't want children will protect her child especially if it's a piece of the man she loves. But the stupid vision of her happy little family with Jake was just that... Stupid. Could SM not have some up with some other way for Bella to give in to her love (instead of realizing it "all the sudden")?
*heavy sigh* Wow, uh, yeah. That was my little rant on Eclipse.c Sorry about that, haha. Back to the about me, yeah?
I am an author over on both FFn and Twilighted (same screen name). At this time I think I have something like five stories. There will be more when I can get the time, haha.
Hmmm, what else? I'm an actress/director for both stage and film, but I'm also experienced in technical theatre, stage make-up, stage combat, and a bunch of other stuff that you probably don't care about ^_^
I think that's it for right now, but if I come up with anything else I'll be sure to come back!

So. I guess this is the place to introduce ourselves. My name's Alex, and I'm 15 years old (and no, I don't like reading smut). Currently I'm hosting a Twilight teens fanfiction competition "You're Never Too Young To Write" with invisiblevampire. Oh, and I live in the UK

Hi. I'm Christie. I'm a relative newcomer to the world of fanfic, and online fandoms in general, so I'm still feeling my way. I just posted my first chapter, which is super-exciting. I'm a massive fan of both the Temptation podcast and TLYDF, although between them they give me way more great fics to read than I actually have time for <sigh>. Apart from Twilight, my hobbies include irish dancing, figure skating, and studying history and theology. I live in Australia, although if I had the opportunity I'd move to Europe or Canada in a heartbeat (Europe for the history, and Canada for the skating).
Random fact: when I'm at work my computer plays Star Wars quotes every half hour. Currently the Emperor does not share my optimistic appraisal of the situation...

Hello, I'm Marissa from the Midwest.
I never even heard of fan fiction until last year so I'm new at all this. So far I'm just a reader of fanfic and haven't posted anything I've written.
I can't think of anything else to say about myself so I'm just gonna click on the shiny buttons....[glow=red,2,300][/glow]The shiny [shadow=red,left,300][/shadow]CANDY like buttons.

Hi, I'm Heather aka polyphany. I've been polyphany online since 1995, so I actually answer to either poly or polyphany in person as well as my given name. I'm a stay at home mom to two wonderful children. My DD "K" is 7.75 and my DS "R" is 4.75, plus Stasia our 11 year old Chow/Collie mix. My DH actually saw Twilight at the bookstore last year and asked me if I had heard of it. I hadn't at the time, and since I had just finished reading Eragon, Eldest, and The Chronicles of Narnia in two weeks since I had sprained my wrist, I grabbed it and well read through to Eclipse in 10 days. I then started re-reading the books while waiting for BD to come out and about a week before BD I discovered FF.net. I've been reading ever since.
Love the podcast. There are many clothes that would not have been folded and dishes that would not have been washed if it weren't for the fact that I had you guys to listen to and entertain me while getting things done around the house.
Well there is much screaming going on, so I guess that's my queue that my intro is over.
Heather

I don't believe in lurking, so I'm stopping by to introduce myself. I'm christina/tby789 and I write The Office. I have to say I'd never listened to the podcast until i was told that my story would be mentioned. It was interesting and I look forward to hearing more.
