FANTASY FANDOM CAGE FIGHTING

(A new game, inspired by a random comment in Episode 23 and brought to you by Claire.)

RULES

  • All cage-fighting is virtual
  • All limbs and body parts must be kept inside the cage
  • Keep the game clean
  • Crazy costumes must be worn at all times




HOW TO PLAY

  • This will run much like Wimbledon Tennis Competition, in that it is a knock out tournament. Pairings of Authors will be generated at random and then the thread will vote on who they think would win in that fight.

  • There will be 32 cage fights in round one, 16 in round two, eight in round three, four in the quarter-finals, two in the semis and one in the final.

  • Simply vote by listing your winner for each fight in a single post below. e.g. 1) mskathy 2) jandco etc.

  • The Glorious Leader/High Adjudicator/All-Powerful-British-One (aka Claire)'s decision is FINAL and no argument will be entered into.


The next post will contain the first round of the heats.

I tried to choose authors of fanfictions well known in the fandom/ admins of TLYDF/ hosts of the podcast etc. etc.

If this works out this time round then we can do another round with people who volunteer to be in it ;D

I love Cap, I'd pitch in. Just because she's probably one of the best reviewers ever, and all the other people who feel the same would make a scary force of people. I don't know shabbyapple.

If nina makes a jandco joke, it's over for her. wtvoc will eat her. then again, Nina might beat wtvoc to death with her toys. I'm split honestly. This ones tough.

Okay, again, Jenny is soooo nice despite her constant proclamations of "FUCK YOU, CUnTsUCKers!!!!" and Minisinoo is more bookish. I feel like this would be like House MD and Hermione getting in a fight, and um, that's just sounds like a recipe for underage sex (which Mini dont like) so I guess.... yeah, I'm going with Jenny cuz I love her. And I think gallantcorkscrews would hop in and start throwing bottles of bourbon at Mini (not fair but yeah...)

hrm. im a little offended by the lack of faith in me. Cause you know in RL im kinda a major bitch. i keep it on the DL here on the interwebs but i actually HAVE been in a fight before, suspended, thrown off the soccer field, Cussed OUT my soccer coach in front of 7080808 people (including my mother), make children cry (as of Monday), and currently am being heavily recruited for roller derby-i plan to agree.

sooooo, thats okay, you guys bet against me. Once i get done with smellyia she's gonna need to ask rob for advice on how to clean up those cuts.
